Nice, nice. Do you also have pics of the optional utility cabin?

No . I did see it but was not worth a photo. It uses the bathroom floor as a base and had the washer dryer in the aft end and a small work bench at the front. I have opted for the 2 bunk beds in my order . Here are some more pic's Andy

Thanks Andy for posting, great photos & very comprehensive brochure, much like the 575 one.
Is the SS unit above the freezer/fridges the wine cooler?

Andy, The 505 looks great. I notice that on the 505 & 575 there is a narrow draw between, in the 505 in your photos, the wine fridge and the lower fridge or freezer. Did you happen to open this draw to see what it is? Although we looked through the 575s when we visited the Hanse yard there were areas we did not look at in detail.

Hi Peter, Yes the top unit is a wine cooler. I have ordered the freezer in that position. Also the 4kw generator and largest battery charger to keep it all working. Will you be spending any time in the Baltic after delivery. Andy

Hi Andy yes I have ordered the same freezer, interesting my advice was to get the larger 3000w inverter which I did along with the Cruising Pack Plus which has the upgraded battery set, what made you go with the 4kw generator?
Our boat is being delivered in Sydney so sadly no time over there, just received advice it leaves the factory 9 Dec & departs on a ship for Aus around 16 Dec.

Hi Peter , recon I saw your boat on the line in the factory 2 weeks ago. I went for the 4kw generator and the large inverter / battery charger because I will be doing a lot of cruising away from land power and will have a 150lt/hr water maker and did not want to have to run the engine just to top up the batteries. I like to run the generator while getting the evening meal ready and then turn it off.

The generatort makes total sense now, did you look at our boat or just knew it was coming here, how did it look? Our boats are so similar you could have been looking at mine instead of yours

I was looking at your 505 as although my hull number is #020 I did not want deliver until April 2014 so I would be ready to do the ARC Baltic Rally. I only have 2 crew spaces left from Kiel on July 6 to Tallin

Very excited we are Andy, recently had some photos of our actual boat, see attached, we are very happy with our colour combinations, boat has left the factory & probably on its ship now, can't wait to see it in mid Jan. I think you are the prod. number before us. Doesn't seem like I have an option for attaching photos?... most forums allow this. How did you attach photos?

I remember Pittwater well, It was where Cathie discovered that sailing can be fun instead of cold and wet, and where she did her competent crew. Will you be hoisting a MYHANSE burgee?

There's a Boat Test review of the 505 in the latest Sailing Today, just published. I think they liked it!
