Hi Everyone,

After some testing we have now enabled the file/picture upload part of postings.

Picture Uploads
To add a picture to your posting simply click on the upload image button ->  and select your file for upload. The picture will then appear in your message.

File Upload
To upload a file (.txt only at the moment but let me know if you would like others) then click on the Post File button -> . This will upload the file with a link (the item will not show up in your post but can be downloaded.

If you get any problem please do get in touch.

Thanks,

Jonathan

I have been trying for ages to try and place a piccie of SILVER HANSE on the post site.

Well I think I might just have cracked it.

this piccie was taken before we changed the self tacking jib to a genoa to enhance her performance. We love our boat and she sails a dream.

Sadly she is tucked up for the winter now - Graeme my hubby - he would like to sail her in the winter - but truth, I am not a cold weather sailor....... And yes we do have a heating system on board and all of our creature comforts - But i do get so incredibly cold.

Hi Sue,

In mine opinion your piccie is standing on the site and is not missing.

I hope you guys will survive the winter and that you will sailing again soon. In March or April maybe.

greetings,

Martijn "NO FEAR"

Hi Sue,

The picture is showing in your post so not sure about this problem.

There is going to be a new version of the posting software soon so maybe that will help you see the images.

Sorry I can not be any more help.

Click on Settings on the top menu and then select Edit profile from that page that loads.

Half way down the page is select Avatar.

The file upload doesn't appear on the 370 topic (it does on others).  Can you add it please.

Hi Jonathan,

I would like to upload a PDF file of a deck reinforcement drawing for the Hanse 342 into the Manuals and Drawings forum section.  I don't find the File Upload button available to do this.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Hint: I find that in general the quick reply window at the bottom of a forum page doesn't seem to have the picture upload button. However, if you click the reply button to the right of the last message the new reply window that pops up does have the picture upload button and a few others!

Following problem with picture uploading happened today:

I am able to upload the picture. The picture returns inside the edit window, but then I am unable to post the reply. The site gets blocked and I have to close the internet explorer.

I didn't have problems till today.

Also I wish we could upload .pdf Adobe files.
