Hello anybody who can help.         I have a 2012 Hanse 445 . Great boat. But i have a huge problem with the MAXPOWER retractable bow thruster. I have changed two electronic control boxes(found under the front bed near the bow thruster battery) . Each one costs 450 Euro. The thruster still does not work.. Maxpower company has been sold to Greek company Lalizas. No one is answering or can help at Maxpower or Lalizas.  Does anybody know where to find a Maxpower technician or the company that did the control box to Maxpower ??

DEAR IDELIX,

Thank a million about your feedback on Manpower bow thruster.
It turned out just as the forum discussion you sent me
That the sensors are burnet which stopped the operation of the thruster.
As indicated I disconeted the 2 white wire from the control box. This hads disconnected the sensors.
Now the thruster is working perfectly again.
I am in touch with Manpower about this.

Thanks again. This has been very helpful

Dear Lal,

Thanks very much for your feedback with Maxpower address.
I contacted them and they answered.
However I had already solved my problem.
The protection heat sensors and burnt.
Once disconnected, The thruster functions again.
Thanks very much anyway.

Hello,
I had the same problem in 2013 at the bow thruster of my 445. I found the problem quickly because I also have a sturn thruster. I was thus able to compare the resistance measurements of the two thrusters. I HAVE A GOOD NEWS FOR YOU! Your thruster has a reserve heat sensor.  You can find 2 other white wires in the black tube that goes to the bow thruster.  You can connect them on the printbox.
(repair a broken sensor is not possible).
Kind regards, René

hello,
you solved the problem by disconnecting the sensor. Certainly  it's the solution of the last chance but not the best one.Ouch
What I am trying to explain is that your bow thruster has two sensors Tongue. One is not connected and is a spare sensor. You can connect this one when the connected sensor failsWink. To do that you can find the new white wires in the black tube on the port side of your thruster. (about 10 centimeters inside the tube). Take them and connect them on the electronic box at the same place of the old oneSmile! This information is not mentioned in the manual........but it is good to knowWink.
Kind regards.  René
