Sorry to be off topic but what type of sail is the orange sail? A crossover or a gennaker?

My orange spinnaker is a Elvstrom Furlstrom supplied by Inspiration Marine who call it an MPS.  For the 458 I believe it is between 90-100 m2 - similar in size to the asymmetric that I used on my 385.  The benefits of having the sail on a torsion cable that allow it to be furled easily are tremendous.  Previously I used a snuffer which always involved a dance on the foredeck.

Just to close-off on all my complaining around the production delays ... my H458 finally arrived.  After a short, 8 week sailing season, she is in hibernation until the spring (I'm Canadian).  There were a few production related issues, but our local dealer was unbelievably helpful.  The boat sails as well as it looks and is everything that we hoped for (except perhaps larger holding tanks).

hi Michael.
our issues were not major, but should have been caught at the factory.  Both standard items and options that were missing (tv hookup, wireless charging pad), refrigeration leaks, leaking shore water hookup, and the two bilge pumps (manual and automatic) hooked up to the same hose in the bilge.
All easily fixable by the dealer.
Merry Christmas to you too, and I hope that April comes quickly for you.
