Purchase hanse 575

Hi Mike, we bought a 2013 , 575 in February this year, she is in Greece in the marina in Lefkas. We have most of the toys on board with the exception of a water maker, that’s on the list ! As a second hand purchase, I feel we got value for money, and she is set up for short handed sailing, to be honest , I pretty well sail her on my own with help when anchoring and berthing from my most capable wife! There’s no doubt she’s a big boat, we love the space both above and below decks. We have some pretty old Elvstrom sails, in mast furling main and self tacking jib, so couldn’t be categoric about her sailing performance as yet, although we did touch 10knots on a broad reach in 20 knot winds, I was pleased with that!  We’ve had the usual parts to replace and nothing exceptional, other than the Williams Rib, it has been poorly maintained and is costly to bring back to a good condition, but it is ideal for the boat , especially when the kids need to blow off some steam! We just need more time on her and much more sailing experience! Hope this helps!
