Hi there
Has anyone removed the panel between the two rear cabins
Would love to remove to get more air when in summer months
Is it just hardboard I wonder
Thanks Eoin

Well, that's a new one, Eoin!   Short answer is no but I was wondering if there could be another way of achieving the effect you require that might not have a potential impact on resale/structural integrity.  I got a small rechargable AC unit that cools by evaporating water from an integral tank; quite cheap yet surprisingly effective.  Perhaps a fan fitted through the aft bulkhead and connected to one of the air vents on the transom might work?  Others might have better ideas - or even done exactly what you asked about.

Glad you've been getting the sort of weather that's given you this problem!

Good luck; Iain

Hi Iain, sorry for hijacking this thread but could you give more details of your AC unit please? Maybe a link if one is available.

Thanks

Nae bother, Bob.  Can't remember where they came from but I've seen similar at boat shows and I'm sure Amazon will have similar.  They certainly won't substitute for proper AC in the 40-45C we can get in Cyprus but in UK/Eire summers they've been excellent.
