Remote control for transom door

   Hi I am trying to buy a new Ghim remote control and receiverAnd I have contacted Ghim and the remote is in stock but they will not sell it to me because I am not a business.
I have tried other places with no success 
Has anyone changed there remote

	I replaced all the HANSE provided remotes with new ones. If you are interested, I can send you what I did. Its on a 575 and I use them for the stern gate hydraulics, but its the same problem. The HANSE NIMBLE remote was a piece of junk. The new GAMA remote works from 500' away and we use it from our dinghy coming back to the boat or pretty much anywhere. As well, you can have as many remotes as you want. See picture. It was a piece of cake.

	https://www.gamainc.com/ is the link for where I got them. The antenna and receiver/switch have worked flawlessly since I put them in 7 years ago. It also has a range of about 500' (think approaching your boat by dinghy) where as the original Hanse remote required me to place it against the hull before it did anything... Make sure you get the waterproof remotes. I got five remotes and programmed them all at once. Occasionally one will go bad, so its worth getting a few more than you need and programming them all up front. You can add them later, but its a bit of a pain. I'll see if I can dig up the write-up from the 575 forum and post it here.
