After 3 years of operation looks like my Electric Haylard Wench may need some service. This past weekend I could not get the buttons to work. I tracked the electric in the panel and fuses below and I know that main power and control power is going out of the electronics bay. I assume the next step is to pull the lower cover off the inside of the boat allowing access to the motor. Has anyone ever removed this? It looks like it is sealed will sealant. If this is removed, are there any tricks to putting it back in place?
