Hi. Taking delivery of a new 469 today.
Surveyor thinks the rudder is canted port and aft. As well the gasket/collar has unequal clearance and hard to move. Is this normal. Not seen on other hanse models. Trying to upload photos but can't

I had issues from day one until today with rudder shakes and the boat turning starboard hard of letting go of the rudder. It's gonna haul it in Feb and will know more then, but so far Jaffe has acknowledged the the balanced rudder can cause issues and they have heard this before. They recommended to bevel off one side of the rudder! During a dive a few days ago I discovered that the canter is loose - which is interesting as I had many issues with the commissioning boat yard not doing proper work. Will update how this continues

I’m curious. When you say the boat turns hard to starboard, is that under sail or with the engine running?
