Peter
We installed several of these and were also doing some test with Simrad last year to determine the problem. it should solve your problem.

we have 2 Golden Retrievers on our Hanse 370. Modified our boat a little bit to get easier access for them.
Can you sail the 630 alone?

Hi
I to have Golden Retriever who has not been sailing since she was a puppy - many years ago.  However she now has to take up this hobby as we no longer have a dog sitter!  I am interested in the modifications you have made to make things easier for both humans and dog.

Hi,
Sailing her alone is usually easy. But lowering the main and entering a harbour or marina requires at least one additional hand. We hire a full time skipper who is taking care of the 630, while not sailing. Maintenance and small improvements is a full time job!!! He is also the second or first hand during sailing.

Peter,

we have a special gangway because the normal ones are too narrow and there is a risk going overboard.
We also modified the steep hatchway. We corrected the angle of the hatchway as reassemble the steps forward. Additionally we carpeted all steps of the hatchway.

We also assembled safety nettings on the guardrail.

Panos,

respect to maneuvering such a ship. Do you use your bow thruster in the marina?

Hi
i think the solution to all the Simrad problems, it to replaece them with a differnt brand!
I talked to a guy in Sweden who planned sell is Hanse from 2008 (370)
Hi had it for charter, but had to keep it on the Harbour for the full season , due to instruments not working (who whants to rent a sailbpat without instruments)
This has been a ongoaing issue with Simrad
