Jeg skal skifte skruer på skødeskinne til storsejlskøde på ruf. Der er 2 skruer i selve ruffet på hver side af skinnen. Nogen som har erfaring med det?

på engelsk:

I'm going to change the screws in the trail. The one who sits on the ruf that is used for mailsail. The mounting that runs into the scratch with 2 screws on each side. Anyone who has experience with it?

Hej Peter

(In english: I got tired of the under-dimensioned traveller, and changed the system to Hanse 2010 lookalike)

Is this the main sheet traveler sheet arrangement you are talking about, as I was considering changing the one on mine?

I suppose it was in the 2010 model that Hanse took away the little main sheet traveller, and instead put on a system as you can see on my boat. The small traveller was underdimensioned to  a 54 m2
sail. I saw photos of the setup, and mounted two sturdy mounts in the old mounting holes. (two holes with 8 mm threads each side). I like this setup much better.
This picture is from an better angle.

Thank you for the additional picture, I will have to check what mounting possibilities exist on BH. However, the solution you have looks better than the track which tends to catch the rope when tacking and I agree with you on the track being undersized.
Does the revised setup work much better?

Cheers,

See Youtube; "Hanse 400 nach Bornholm bei 25 kn wind" for pictures. I like this setup much better than the traveller.

I would consider a dyneema triangle instead of blocks on the coachroof. Together with a good vang you should be able to reduce the sheet loads a lot since the sheet is than only pulling sideways.
With the standard Sparcraft boom you will bend the boom otherwise.

How are you likely to bend the boom as the load will be the same for any given wind strength no matter how the sheet fixing is configured?
