We have bought two removable 100 w and one permanent 80 w solar panel which we intend to place in front of the sprayhood. We plan to run the cables from underneath the sprayhood but find it hard to locate a good place to exit under deck. It does not help that the cables are very thick. One option is to run through the bathroom on the port side. In any case I fint it difficult to remove roof panels.
Any experience or suggestions? Erling

Hi,
I'm sure on one of the other model forum's there was a chap preparing his boat for blue water cruising and had made several modifications to his boat. From memory the panels on deck had their cables run to a connector and it was the connector that made the through deck connections, enabling you to unplug up top leaving the cables wired to the controller in tact. I'll keep searching see if I can find the link
