I'm about to install solarpanels  om my 470e. I would like some advice how to draw the wire from the inner roof panels down to behind the sofa. I plan to put the regulator where the inverter is and then to the batteries.

If you carry out a search there's several items on solar installation. I think one of our larger sister ships was preparing for an ocean crossing and has several useful hints and photos.

I myself have used my davits to support a 210w panel which plugs in port side by VHF radio. This enables me to unplug when needed to, the wiring passes through the locker under the rear cabin to the controller. I can also turn the davits round 180 degrees and point the panel the opposite way if I happen to berth the other way around.

Obviously you may not like the aesthetics of what appears to be a rear spoiler.
