Hello!

I own a 355 MY2012 ... unfortunately, no spi halyard installed :-(

If I recall correctly, the slot in the mast for the spi halyard is on the starboard (right) side of the mast, so my initial assumption is, that the halyard stopper for this line should also be on the starboard side???

On the starboard side, I have 5 rope clutches installed, but all of them are already in use for (from left to right) boom vang, main outhaul, reef, genoa halyard and self tacking jib sheet.

On port (left) side, I have 4 rope clutches installed for (from left to right) topping lift, reef, main halyard and main sheet ... but with room to add one more to the left (picture 2) of the 4 existing stoppers.

Does anybody own a 350/355 with a spi halyard installed and can explain, how it is installed and routed in this given environment?

Thx in advance!

On my 355 the spinnaker halyard exits the mast on the starboard side and is routed back across the deck  to a bank of 5 clutches on the starboard coach roof  .

Thx Moroven!

The exit for the spi halyard on my 355 is also on the starbord side of the mast and I also have 5 rope clutches on the starbord side. All of them are already used by (from left to right) boom vang, main outhaul, reef, genoa halyard and self-tacking jib sheet.

Therefore follow-up questions: which of the five clutches do you use for the spi halyard or, more broadly, how are the 5 clutches used on your boat?

Thx in advance,
Stephan
