Can anybody help
I have got a new remote control for the swim platform/garage door for my 575.I also have the instructions on how to configure the remote
My problem is that I cannot find the control box that has the buttons inside that need to be pushed
Any help with this would be very much appreciated

I have to replace mine as well.    It was in my wife's purse when a wave came over the front of the dinghy and soaked it.   Its *SUPPOSED* to be waterproof, but I don't find it to be a high quality product.  I'm looking at alternatives.

Did you look at the manual link I gave you?

It seems like it shows you how to pair the new remote to the old antenna.   Let me know

On every 575 I've seen there is a void in the aft starboard quarter.   You access it to get at the hydraulics for the stern gate and a few other items.  There is an access panel inside the garage that you remove a few screws to open up.

On our boat, in that void,  against the hull near the deck joint,  is the antenna that you see in the manual.   The remote is paired with an antenna when made at the factory (to my knowledge).  To use a remote with a different antenna,  or if you have to replace one or the other component,  you need to pair them on site.

Thanks for your patience so far.I think I have located the black box which looks the same as the one in your link
BUT
Its high up  and to the stern and it seems that you need a five year old to go in there and do anything with it it is also behind other substantial wiring.

Supposing I find my 5 yr old with a degree in marine electronics do you know anything about the wires that have to be changed to make the pairing.

All jokes aside.Are you aware of anyone from Hanse that can be contacted.Boatoon sent me a new remote but with a completely different manual to the one that you gave me.Hence the reason I could not find the unit.

We anchor and use the dinghy a lot and it is just awful to go away from your boat with the flap down.Apart from anything else aesthetically it is just a killer.

Anyway Rick many thanks for your support, maybe I can talk my wife to get into the hole

I know what you mean about accessibility.     I had to find  thick rug and lay it on top of the hydraulics so I could lay on my back and work high up where the antenna was.     The wiring moves aside by just removing the wire ties and putting new ones back later.   Unfortunately, there are many things on the boat that require one to be a spaghetti armed, plier fingered alien.

In my case I was installing a base for an outboard motor lift thru the deck.    At that time I noted the antenna for the remote.     You might try contacting Hanse in Germany directly.      In NA,  I know who to contact, but I don't know who might be available in your part of the world. Sorry.

I wouldn't bother trying to get a spare of the NIMBLE remote.   Its a piece of junk.  Its short range.  It rusts.  You can only have one (to my knowledge)....   I replaced everything 2 years ago and its been great.
 
The unit I put in comes from GAMA Electronics and is waterproof for marine use and reasonably priced.

It now has a 500' range (I've tested it!)  and we now have three remotes.  You can pair up to twelve remotes with the device if you feel like it.    The waterproof remotes are not strictly necessary as you can have multiples of the lower priced one as spares.  The device comes with a remote, so you can order spares on top of that. 

The install took a couple of hours.  The worst part being upside down in the starboard aft void laying on top of the bulkhead between the dinghy garage and the void.    It swaps out the NIMBLE device fairly easily and the stern switch in the cockpit still works fine.    As the new transmitter is more powerful and the antenna better, you don't need the antenna in the same place it was before.   You can mount it in a more accessible location

FWIW - See picture of installation and remote below.    


This takes the place of the NIMBLE install done by HANSE.  It plugs into the same set of wiring.  Green and Yellow OUT wires must match the ones coming from the toggle on the stern of the boat.   See red arrows.

 

These are the waterproof remotes...  One mine.  One for my wife.  One for the boat or guests if we have  them.
