I race and cruise Cutty Stark around the Bristol Channel. Many interesting ports dry out and I would quite like to dry out inside them rather than anchor off.  Cutty Stark is a deep fin keeled 300 and I was wondering if any of you have experience of drying out against a harbour wall and also if you have any tips to offer.

Hi,

I sail out of Cardiff and someone in the club mentioned that a Hanse owner had called in and was looking to make contact. If you are that person my name is Richard Southwell and I sail a 301 named 'Naddura'.

If you would like to drop me an email I would be glad to swap notes.

Regards,

Richard
