I have Hanse 418. In the head & shower there is this "plastic" floor panel. It is rather big and not any particular form. I am considering to replace that with a teak one. Has anybody done this in Hanse 418? If yes please share some pics and comments.

I’ve not done this but would love to replace it with a teak grating. I think it’s the one aspect of the interior that lets the 418 down

However, it’s quite a complicated shape and would be very expensive to make a real wood grating

A teak floor would indeed be difficult and expensive. This is a Flexiteek material laid over the fiberglass. It is a very nice finish and very realistic. Hanse is using it for decking as an option. If you make a template, a Flexiteek dealer will make a finished piece for you that can be glued down.

Also, it comes in a few different versions. I have the “Scrubbed” finish with black caulking. The color and grain is perfect.

Hanse actually has a teak floor option for the head, or at least used to offer one for the 415.   It is a laser cut, teak multiplex, replacement for the regular head floor.  It looks very good, eliminates all issues with standing water because it has slots laser cut into the surface, and would be a simple drop-in.   Just lift up the current floor out and drop in the teak replacement.  It used to be around $1,000.    I ordered it new with my boat and absolutely love it
