Is it OK to completely release the backstay to do work on the rear of the 505? I used to do it on my 370. I assume it is the same for the 505?

Colinc,
We had to release our backstay to take our 575 out of the water recently and with the backswept spreaders all was good. |

There is absolutely no issue with releasing the backstays. It is typically necessary to haul the boat.
