Hello!
We are Hanse 311 owners. The throttle has become stuck just off the neutral position and won’t move back to neutral. It seems our friend was pushing the button on the side of the throttle when moving between gears. And also moving between gears rapidly. At the time the throttle got stuck the engine also cut itself off. Any ideas on what could have happened or how to solve this would be super helpful. Best wishes Naveen |

I would check the end of the cable where it connects to the engine
throttle. Also the one to the gear arm on the saildrive. I suspect one has come loose & needs re connecting. Failing
that , get inside the cockpit locker via the heads & remove the
cover from the inside of the throttle/gear unit & check that the end
of the cable has not jumped out of the fork or broken. Spray some
grease on it whilst you are in there. I store a spare litre of oil by the engine & one day the throttle jammed. When I looked the bottle had come lose & had wedged against the throttle arm. It may be that you have something similar. Spare antifreeze etc.
