The tranmission heat exchanger on my 2019 548 corroded and flooded the transmision with sea water.  The boat was on the hard for 2 years during Covid but had been winterized by the Dealer's nominated service tech at the factory in Germany. Two seasons later the failure ocurred.  Needless to say Yanmar, who provided the engine/transmission package which was still under extended warranty, advised that the heat exchanger was not a Yanmar product and hence not under warranty.  Most dissappointinng was the absolute silence from the Dealer on the matter, and here was  me thinking that I would get better support from the Dealer at the factory.  Trap for new players!
Has anyone else had problems with their heat exchanger and are there any precautions suggested to avoid future premature failure.
Cheers
