If I am not wrong, the manual duly describes what to do in case there is no electricity.
Anecdote: in the middle of the Atlantic, I didn't switch off the fuse of the transom door... mistake! Some seawater swept inside the switch at the stern, and the door fully opened while sailing.... the other switch, being in parallel to the one already closed, got ineffective...uhm.... I had to open the control box, found (by chance!) the paper schematics inside the ip67 box, and disconnected the switch from the pcb. Disconnecting locally the switch that was short circuited is easier said than done: to access the switch from the back, you need to go through the moving steering cables while the boat sails, I should be 20kg less! ![]() Edited by Pzucchel - 02 September 2024 at 15:32 |
