Hi
My Triducer has stopped sending a depth reading, the water temp and boat speed are still registering so it appears to not be a cable / connection issue. I have tried to remove the cable so that I can find out where the Simnet connection is but I can't get the cable out of the conduit that it goes in to under the fore cabin. It appears to go under the saloon seat as there is another grey conduit with 1 cable in that matches the conduit and cable from the triducer under the fore cabin but the cable feels stuck and won't move either way to check if it is the correct cable. Has any one replaced the triducer and if so where was the cable routed and the Simnet cable connected in to the Simnet system? Thanks Ken

My triducer also just stopped sending depth data.
There was about 1.5 meter cable coiled up and then a connector that looked like NMEA2000. Not the normal simnet plugs. My h370e is from 2008.

I have the same issue. Speed and tempature still available but lost depth. Some moments i receive a depth reading when starting the instrument but after some minutes the depth reading fails again? Anyone with a solution?

After fiddling about with the cables, plugs and resetting the IS20 unit, I now get the depth for a few minutes when I 1st switch on but then it just decreases and goes to the no reading symbol.
JG Tech have told me that the triducer comes with a 'comes with a micro c connector and I can supply an adaptor cable but am sure you are using one already if you check' so that sounds like I should also have a cable with a connector on coming from the triducer but I can't locate the connector and I think this is why I can't pull the cable through the conduit. The connector is stopping it! But I can't find the other end of the conduit, I will probably have to start removing the floor and seating to get below the floor. JG Tech also have IS20 Graphic Multi function instruments in so I may get one of those as well if it turns out that is faulty as well. Hanse could have made things easier by making the connectors available through an inspection hatch instead of hiding them. Ken

If somebody of you have a spare thru hull fitting for the triducer, I would happily receive a PM!

In my H350 (2010) the first connector is located under the front cabin bed, near the waterpump. From there the transducer cable is routed first behind the port locker of the front cabin, then through the compartment under the port seats of the main cabin. I found the cable in the space between the box that contains the batteries and the front of that compartment. I had to take out the loudspeakers in that front before finding ( with the help of a light and a mirror) the cable and a second connector.
Maybe this can help you finding the transducer cable/connector in your boat? Claude

I don't think that the missing reading is caused by any cable problem. I had the same problem on my 2008 Hanse 350 last year: no reading for depth while temperature and speed were properly displayed. My technician diagnosed a defective transducer. The triducer had to be replaced, which is quite simple. Since then the problem didn't reoccur.

Boris could you change the transducer with the boat in the water?
