I want to compete in the race Scheveningen - Brest coming summer.
Due to the racing rules I need a stay sail.
Is there anyone who already has this sail and do you have pictures off this sail?
I wonder if I can hoist it without a extra rail on the mast.
I heard there is a possiblity to do so but I am looking for exemples.
Please post some pictures if there are.
Greetings marcel

I never found a way to set a tri without a track, so have a track fitted.
Sail is in a bag do not know how it sets and with the weather around here at the moment I am not going to find out!
It is a whole lot of expense and hassel to conform to an out dated rule.
The Hanse like all boats is best on a single head sail when running down wind in storm.
My 370 will sail at 70 to true wind in 35 kn, so I can see no conditions when I would set and use the tri.

Hello Marcel,

I have sailed with the same organisation to Cork and we didn't need to install a try sail. We had a storm jib and a 3rd reef in the main. I don't know if they changed the rules.

Cheers,

Michiel
