I bought my Hanse 400e Three years ago, I’ve since managed to sail round Britain up and down the south coast and across to the Scillies . The boat handles well in light winds However, with her current self tacking jib And stronger wind she is very unbalanced As I am new to Sailing I was seeking advice on what size tube to purchase I do not wish to pay out for something which leaves me unsatisfied so I would value anyone’s opinion.
Cheers Ray

Ray,
You have posted this question on the 630 section of the forum. It would be best if you posted it on the 400 section.

Before you start spending money on sails, you might be aware that the smaller Hanse responds very well to mast rake, rig tension , sail shape & sail trim. I would imagine that the 40 might respond in a similar way. As suggested above post the thread on the correct forum section & ask owners of similar boats for advice first.
