Thanks, Wayne. I will have a look at that as this may be quicker.
Cheers. Dave

Thanks for posting them.
I have checked them against what I know and would also add the following.......... In our case we have a little bit of the one with the single instrument panel Panel 306-1 to which a house battery bank has been added ! The wire colours are difficult to read on the drawings and I don't think show the true colours. Eg In our case we have a yellow wire feeding the autopilot not red as on drawing.... Important information On our boat there is a fuse between the output of the battery charger to each battery bank in the battery compartment under the aft berth. I would be surprised if this has not been fitted on all boats as its an essential safety device. The fuses are not shown on the drawing......... Our Sterling Battery charger(Ladergerat) is shown on the drawing. This is connected directly to each of the battery banks: Red wire via a 20 amp fuse to the engine battery positive. Brown wire via a 20 amp fuse to the house battery positive. Black wire to the common negatives of both batteries. Our switch panel has: Switch 1 rated at 10 amps feeding all interior lighting(innerbeleuchtung) Switch 2 rated at 7 amps feeding Bow and stern lights(Heck-Buglaterre) Switch 3 rated at 4 amps feeding the Mast Steaming light (Dampferlicht) Switch 4 rated at 7 amps feeding the domestic cold water pump. Switch 5 rated at 2 amps feeding the instrument lighting (in our case this actually turns on the IS 15 instruments (combi and wind)and not the compass Switch 6 rated at 6 amps feeds the GPS and compass light (Purple spare cable) None of the drawings show the supply for the VHF radio. I have not checked yet but I believe this is fed directly from the engine battery and has in- line fuses in both +ve supply and -ve return for protection (yellow inline fuse holders inside door of nav station electric compartment). None of the drawings show the 12v cigarette socket or the volt meter option on our boat. I have yet to find how this is connected. I will update when I get my head in the cupboard again! Once again on our boat we have redundant unconnected cables in the loom at the nav station There were two yellow ones but one has been connected via a 10 amp fuse to the positive feed to the panel from the house battery switch. This then feeds a waterproof socket for the autopilot in the starboard aft side of the cockpit coaming. Second yellow remains unconnected and untraced so far Orange remains unconnected and untraced so far Green remains unconnected and untraced so far White remains unconnected and untraced so far Unmarked two core grey shielded cable runs to starboard rear aft for nmea connection to autopilot Unmarked two core grey shielded cable runs to instrument pod. MHWind unit is wired directly to the IS15 main unit. Most common _ve return cables are dark blue but check for voltage before using any spares! |
