Hello. When I brought the Hanse 460 from Slowenya a year ago, Today on the Land area, I noticed that it was leaning about 10-12 cm to the port side a few days ago. Since most of the port gelcoat was in the sea and was not poisonous, there were a lot of mussels. We only added 2 batteries to the left side of the boat. The boat has a factory-installed generator. Although a washing machine and a 9.9 Suzuki outboard motor were hung on the other side to balance, this situation occurred. The seller suggests balancing by putting lead on the starboard side, but I think this will affect the sailing performance. Do you think this situation could be a design problem?

Hi.  My 460 also lists to port - about 5 degrees

Dealer said it was normal.  I have tried with different tank fills etc - no difference.
Thought it may be the 2 agm batteries.
Doesn't seem to effect tacking.

Is this photo related to the boat leaning on port side?
Water in the balsa core?

SS,

I would think the photo shows growth which was covered by the lift strap after the boat was pressure washed at the start of its haulout. Shows the growth well above the antifouling line.

Water tank is centered and diesel tank is little bit at starboard side. Batteries are heavily on port side. How many batteries you have in total? With factory batteries and half/full diesel tank, it should be quite stable and +-1 degrees. Otherwise I would see it as fault.

Same on older models ... like to designer never thought owners would buy optional equipment, fit personal equipment and take personal belongings aboard. We have the short-antifoul problem plus our generator exhaust is right at the waterline and with the slightest swell, is often under water! (Hanse 445).

Only the line of the growth of mussels is not a correct indication that the boat is leaning one side. After some time in a Marina with most off the time the wind ,swell and sea on one side of the boat can make a difference in growing.
Only 2 AGM battery our differences in tank(almost near the center and low in the bottom of the boat) will not make big difference in leaning one our other side by this size and the displacement of a 46 feet boat. My 2 c
