Hello
I have by the way had serious trouble with the Vetus joystick for the thruster. It was installed in 2020 and broke after a few months. I got a replacement last year, and because of illness I have barely used it. And now it is broken again. A control that lasts under a year, that isn't ok. And the problem is electrical, it is not because of malhandling or anything like that. Best Peter

Hi Peter. I wonder is the button control better than the joystick? Even still both should not fail. Not good.

i don't know, if the button control is better, but it isn't as complicated, so I guess it is. The joystick is for the Bowpro thruster a dc coupled engine that can run continuously in different speeds. best Peter

Hi. I just use for docking in the marina. It’s an aid and has prevented a few dings. Very handy but don’t rely solely on it.

Hi installed retractable Bow and Stern thrusters from side-power in my 2007/8 Hanse 350. Needed to replace the water tank for a smaller one, very easy install, the stern is in the Starboard rear cabin under the bunk aft of the engine! Tight but fits fine. Run them for a few years now best thing I have ever done, the yacht can be manoeuvred with ease at slow speeds with strong cross winds or cross currents and docking is a very easy one man operation with the hold function. Can’t seem to get pics to load but I can send via WhatsApp or email if anyone is interested.
