Sorry to hear that. Was hoping we might meet again Charles I will be leaving Bradwell tomorrow ( wed) for Boulogne My daughter has today had the all clear from consultant to fly, so she will be St PP 18-22 june.I will be there 16-24Th If you are coming to St PP we should be able to meet at last I will have my AIS on so you will know where I am |

I am now in cherbourg & expect weather & tides will be favourable to go to st pp on monday 15th
Had some windy uncomfortable sailing!!!!! |

It is dead lonely here in st PP as far as Hanse's are concerned
Currently with wife & daughter but will move on on 23 june when they go home (22nd) Next stop lezardrieux Lidle scotch still lasting out OK as family only use it for antifoul removal |

Sorry Sam. I'm in Fecamp. Got caught up in a fishermen say blockade in Boulogne, now the wind is not good for heading towards Cherbourg, so we will call into some more ports in this corner for the next week I guess.

I was planning on making St PP today from Alderney but the weather really kicked up as we came out of the Race so ended up going with the wind into St Helier. Great sail down with water coming up over the windward deck! SOG went up to 15kts at one time but averaged around 9kts with 7.5 through the water
 If anybody is over here Outnumbered is here for the next 3 nights before going over to Guernsey (or more likely Sark) and then the French coast before heading back cross Channel on Sat/Sun.MMSI is 235063342 for when the radio is on

I have a chap who wants to crew me for a week. He arrives tonightso we are off to lezardrieuz tues morning. Looks like the Lidli scotch has survived another day. & i had the my hanse flag up ( after dark)

Charles that is worrying Is it just a local thing or will it escalate How did you get out? Will i get caught on return trip- do you advise i give boulogne a miss ? Have they sorted the issue? |
