I can't seem to figure out how to open up the whale gray water sump box. I have tried unscrewing it, and it just spins. I tried using a flat head screw driver to try to pop it open, but it feel like I am going to break the lid and didnt want to push too far. What am I missing?

Hi Mark. First off, the screws don’t hold the lid on. They hold the water sensor on to the lid. Also, it does NOT pry off and will break if you try. The trick is to use the two recesses on the lid (where the screws are), to spin it counter clockwise. It may be stubborn. If it doesn’t budge, you can try to gently tap the recesses sideways ( to spin it) with a piece of wood and a small mallet to get it started.
