My 415 has been plugged into shore power all winter and a few weeks ago, I noticed that the main lights in the boat no longer work. Originally thought it was a shore power issue but this is not the case. Is it a blown fuse?

Could be a fuse, but the control panel is also known to give up.   If it is more than one group, it might be the control board.   There are some diodes on the control board that have a tendency of failing

Do you have the Caliri panel with the green LEDs next to the switch/breaker?   If so, the switch is also the breaker and there is no other fuse.  The green LED indicates that you have power at the load end of the breaker.   If you have a green light but none of your lights work you may have a failure on either the power or the ground wire in the wiring harness.   Unfortunately Hanse used some un-tinned wire and crimps and connectors that aren’t sealed from moisture.   If you have more than one circuit for the lighting and none of them are working it could be that they share a common ground connection that has failed.

Is it this one?

I had an issue on my 458 a while I back. The broker sent me a new panel which wasn’t the same as the old panel. Fortunately, I figured out that the old panel has some programming built into it for things like dimming and grouping. Sorry I can’t remember how I found it - probably the internet. In any case I was able to get it back working fully with some button pushing/holding.

No blown fuse.  We swapped and tried a replacement controller, no change; he then had us check the relays and swap, no change.

Have you checked the obvious
Lamps, if they have been broken during higher voltage when on shore power
Then if it is a grounding error
Take a multimeter and check from socket to ground

Still not resolved. These are the notes from the tech that tried to fix the issue:

-traced wiring to a PLC circuit board behind electrical panel

- able to get lights to work by hot wiring but lighting circuit board is not outputting power to lights

- ID circuit board but unable to get locate any manuals online

- swap fuse in circuit board but did not solve issue

- installed new light zone switch, no change

- tried changing relays at main panel for lighting channels w/ red fault, no change

Hi Tlivac87:

I am pretty sure it is the control board that is behind the cabinets on the port side.   You can see it when you open the cabinet with the switches.   It is on the right side when you look into the control.   I had exactly the same issue.  One of the diodes on that board failed.  I have a repaired board in spare that I can sell you if you like and/or I can send you a picture of the repaired board I have so you can cross check versus yours.  Where are you located?    You can direct message me

Thanks for your response. I would be interested in seeing a picture of the board. How much?
