Hi everyone I am a new owner of the 505, I would like to replace the 25kg Delta with a 35KG ultra, has anyone done that swap, I would like to know if it fits ok on the bow .

I should point out I have the little mini bow-sprit and bob-stay. It think some 505s were different?

Thank you very much, do you have a picture of the Ultra on the 505. Do you think the 35KG was appropriate size and do you have any issues with the windlass and the heavier anchor.

I don't have a pic of it specifically, but you can kinda see it in this pic. I think 35kg is perfect for a cruiser. No problems with windlass.

I have the 45KG Ultra on my 575. I think you will find it an excellent anchor. I have never had it slip, and it self launches quite well. I have a QUICK remote on the helm (as well as the Hanse provided one at the bow) and anchor single handed quite often.

It’s installed it fits perfectly even with the guys that have the Dinema Bob stay
