It looks really great. I just wish they would consider a 3 spreader mast and a longer boom sheeted in the cockpit like the 630. It would offer a much better trim.
I am also missing the folding anchor. Apart from that i am ready to buy it!!!

Happy to say I'm a new owner of the 575. Not sure when I will actually get it but I have traded my 470e for the 575 with my local dealer. Very exciting. The principle reason for the change is that my family is growing and I never wanted to tell anyone that they could not come sailing because we were "full". The amenities appear second to none.

Well Bax, congrats with the new 575. Looking great!. I have put it on my bucket list. As a matter of intrest, as I have a 470 myself, was the trade in value reasonable?

On the 470e, I was led to believe that it made better sense to source products from local suppliers. I found this to be somewhat false, feeling often that I was over-charged for everything. For the 575, I am getting Hanse to do almost everything. The highlights are:
bow & stern thrusters (on a joy stick on starboard pedestal), easy-tender system, air compressor, performance package, leather interior, all B&G gear including Radar and Autopilot, Bimini, Dodger, TV, AIS transponder, shoal draft keel, teak everywhere, all the fancy tables going up and down, upgraded mattresses and a bunch of stuff I can't even remember without having my documents at hand. I hope that fills out the picture.

tHanks! seems that SImrad and Zeus B&G are very similar...probably from the same manufacturer...have any info about them? Internet on board? Do you know how much the auxiliary boat cost? thanks!

it is the same Manufacturer but I'm told that the B&G versions are available. I figure I might as well have just one name on display as for several.
The internet repeater I had on the 470 will be replicated on the 575. I don't think its available from Hanse but its only a $2000 or so expense. It should be the only thing I rebuild from scratch from external suppliers.
I am keeping my inflatable tender from the 470. Its 9' in length and has no trouble fitting in the garage. The boat they show in the promo is a $35,000 jet boat that I neither want or need. It only holds 3 people whereas mine holds 6. Its called the Williams Turbojet 285. You can ski behind it if you want, but not with my old bones.

Bax,
Congratulations!!
Where will the boat be moored. Will have to keep an lookout for you as we travel the area. Sounds like it's unlikely you'' have it this season though?
