This is a general query, but as I have a 415 I will post it here.

I am seriously considering installing a 'wet' heating system in High Time. The Eberspacher Hydronic D5 seems to fit the bill and is (slightly) cheaper than the alternative Webasto ThermoTop C.

My questions - has anyone reading this installed or used a wet system and, if so, what tips can you offer about installation or comments would you make about operation and reliability of the system.

Thanks in advance.
Roger

hello High Time

A few days a go I have put a post under 470 in Topic "461 our 471"  about such a installation.
It works very well: No noise, No dry air, individual control and the installation is not very difficult.
If you send my a pm with your email I can send you mine drawnings from the installation IYW.

Hi,

Confirm this type Eberspacher is very good, I installed the smaller type, think it is 3,5kw, 3 years ago. It functions excellent. Start every time with no problem, even after a long winter. I do not use it as the main heater, only to heat the water. It is really very convenient to have all the hot water you want even without the shore power connected or engine running

Wil

I've now read your post and it sounds encouraging.

I've also sent you a PM.

Thanks
