Hi mr-ludi- I am trying to no avail to get my dealer to find an answer from Hanse for our 460 ordered on the gypsy wheel used in the windlass as I want to put in a 10mm Cromox chain - any chance you know by which standard Hanse measures their standard windlass gypsy wheels?

Exactly, and if you keep jamming the chain you will destroy the 'stripper' which sits around the gypsy and is what happened to us last January. Fortunately we were able to fix it with the help of an old ships engineer, but far from ideal
