Hi,

My boat is a Hanse 370E built in April 2007.

We found a leakage in the saloon hatch cover - Lewmar Low Profile Hatch Size 60 - and realized that the lack of watertightness is because the methacrylate panel is heavily bent around the friction lever.
Any recommendation on whether to fit a new panel or renew the whole cover? Alternative solutions are also welcome.

Hi

Could you post some pictures? Can't understand how the glass could bend.
My 370 also had a main saloon hatch leak, but it was the screw holes for the aluminium fittings for the window frame that was the issue.

I had also a leakage, but replacing the seal between the acryl and the pvc lock solved it.

Hi

The tension/strength of the gray plastic bracket can be adjusted. Looks like new sealant between the frame and glass as already suggested is the right path.

I replaced the Lewmar this winter. Cost including installation 1000 €.
