For what ever reason my stern thruster pushes to port when the control lever is pushed to starboard.What wires need to be flipped around to get the boat to move in the direction that the control lever is pushed as per my bow thruster

Duncan, you need to reverse the control wires located on the power relay on the side of the motor. They are black and have a spade lug on the ends. You will need to remove the orange plastic cover to gain access. Simply reverse the connections. They are designated as number 5 and 6 from the grey control box but I don’t think they’re labeled. Was there work done on the motor ?

Please see pic of yellow and red lugs both with black wires.I suppose I am missing the orange box top and Yes a technician has been mucking around down there. So are the red and yellow lugs the ones to be swapped. Sounds like a bomb disposal situation!!! Cheers Duncan

No. The yellow lug with the double black wires stays put. There should be a red lug with a single black wire on the opposite side of the relay. There will also be a yellow one there as well. Use the two red ones. Be sure to use the exact same terminals on the relay when you swap.
