I attach a few pictures of my boom brake a Walder 203C. As you can see my boat today is a real mess as Spanish Importer is replacing my side windows.

I did make a system that can be adjusted from the copick, for that I need to install more stoppers and deck organizers.

Port side of the boat:

The device at the boom:

Detail of the boom brake (Walder 203c):

Detail of the extra stoppers on the port side: 1 for boom brake,  1 for 3rd reef, 1 for topping lift (in the future for cunningham):

I trust these pictures will be helpful to you.

Hi Windsurfer,

yes the "grey stuff" is silicone sealer. My windows are leaking AGAIN. My dealer has organised for them to be fixed under warranty using a different tradesman so fingers crossed it'll be done right this time.

Thanks a lot for your pictures Gran Onada!! Finally I can see your deck layout, the garhauer blocks and the terminator-style boom brake - that's a neet piece of equipment...Do you think it's ok to attach the brake lines to the shroud turnbuckles??? I suppose they aren't designed to withstand the force of a sideways pull....
You've got so many clutches - it's amazing...probably more than anyone on this forum...
I was really upset to hear that your windows are leaking and are to be replaced...I remember you said that you had used some special silicone compound - did it eventually fail??? I can see you've decided to drill your windows and attach some screws???

Tim - sorry for you...just like I'm sorry for most people on this forum...look closely when they will be replacing your windows - make sure there's enough sika applyed and no empty spots are left...good luck

The silicone worked well, but all my 4 roof hatches were leaking as well and the Spanish imported asked me to take to boat to fix this and then he also decided to replace the side windows.

I must admit is the first time I feel well treated by Marina Estrella. May be is the new guy in the after sales department seems very efficient.

I haven't seen any deformation on the turbuckles, for the moment it works well. And Windsurfer belive me it is one of the best inprovements in the boat.

My deck layout it is a bit special as I've done so many modifications:

* Add 3rd reef.
* Add main sheet traveler.
* Add genoa cars
* Add additional deck organizers.
* Add boom brake
* Add solar ventilator
* Replace all my blocks by Garhauers
* Add mast steps
* Add extra clutches.
* I can continue....

I think I have spend more than 25% of the boat value by improving and getting it ready for my needs.

I attach a couple of more pictures of the main sheet traveler and mast base with all new blocks.

Thanks a lot for your informative pics Gran Onada... there's a lot of things that I will copy from your solutions...The garhauer mast colar blocks and the main-sheet system (I've decided to keep the main sheet in the cockpit however) are already on their way from States...
The boom brake...I guess i'll go for the Wichard system, but I will arange the brake lines layout in a similar way...
The solar ventilation looks neat, but there's no space before the hatch on my boat (it's a smaller 320)...I guess I would go for the retrofit system from lewmar and intall it right on the hatch...
Of course I'd love to install some other hardcore equipment on my boat...but then I remember it ain't a space shuttle after all...
