Strange behavious tricolor and mooring light

   We have just bought our Hanse 411 2nd hand late last year.
Last weekend we were checking the navigation lights and the following strange thing happened:

When I switch on the tricolor light, both tricolor and the mooring light lite up (in the top and on the switch board).

The same happens when I only switch on the mooring light. 

The cable to the mast seems to be connected correctly. I haven't had time to check to cables behind the switchboard.

Has anyone else seen this?

	Michiel This would seem to indicate a short between the two circuits, possibly in the mast itself. Perhaps a screw (that mounts something on the mast?) has been driven through a cable on the inside of the mast.... Steve

	Steve, Two lamp connectors in the top of the mast were connected to each other. Now it works fine. Thanks, Michiel Edited by samba - 01 April 2008 at 22:28
