Hi Wild,
is this with the 430 or 430E or both? As im pretty sure the 430E is much stiffer than the 430. Does anyone have any other opinions/ experience with this? I have a 2008 model with the chamfered corner of the door to the forepeak cabin. Edited by Aussieangus - 19 June 2025 at 08:05 |

I’am not sure but believe it was a 430 e.
The owner was a regatta sailor.

So I figured out that if you email a photo to yourself, it gives you the option to select the file size.
The attached photo is not very good, but its the only one that I have at the moment. It shows the angled sill that Dog mentioned, and it also shows the chrome post that was added to my boat during commissioning. And behind the chrome post is what appears to be a wooden structure/post - is that what you were referring to earlier? Karl

Your metal post is unique, I have not seen one on another 430. I also see that you have the angled master berth, which I have never actually seen other than in Hanse pictures.
My 430e has the wooden post as shown behind your metal one. I assume that it stiffens the bulkhead, but it does not go up to the base of the mast.

Not sure I understand your previous post about the chamfered base when compared to your latest post - does this mean that your cabin door looks like a regular door?
