Can anyone confirm that there is a metal (aluminium) plate on the foredeck at this position? (the position where the metaldetector lays down) I have to place a putting here for the spinnaker pole, so I am looking for the best position. Any insights are appreciated! Also insights on how wide this reinforcement is.

Hi mystudio,

I could send you a plan about reinforcement positions, but this is a .pdf file, I can't upload it. I found it somewhere on the net, maybe in this forum.
If you give me an e-mail address I send it to you.

Thx for the drawings! This is really helpful. I also found someone on this forum with a probably factory bowsprit. Hope he will be able to answer my question where he got it.

Too bad Hanse didn't center the reinforcement alu plate. Now it's guessing where it is :-( 3 bad holes already and counting. Hanse, don't mess these things up please please!

Buy a cheap metal detector which will save you all of these holes and problems

Unfortunally, it doesn't. I have one. It's not precise enough to detect EXACTLY where the aluminium plate starts end ends. So, I bought another one, a really expensive one. Same problem. So, too bad, but, you can't solve this by a metal detector alone The plate is smaller than the described 10x10, otherwise it would have worked out because you have enough room for interpretation.
