Hello all. Another 2020/315 question for the knowledgeable people here. The external bead of sealant in the hull/deck join is shrinking and hardening. I wonder if anyone knows exactly what brand and type of sealant is used there so I can replace like with like Thank you.

Originally is likely to be Sikaflex 295UV. It needs replacing every 3-5 years depending on your sailing area.

Don’t know where you are in the world however builders merchants in the UK supply a sealant/adhesive called CT1. That’s a far better option than the original Sika. Lasts longer & easier to apply. Even sets in wet salt water conditions.
