Checking the SD oil I discovered a rusty handle on the seawater intake valve for our Yanmar. Is that something you should repair immediately or is it just the handle to be replaced? (s. pic)

That just looks like the handle is rusting. Main body seems OK. If you have any worries, use replace when you next lift out of the water. They are relatively inexpensive and easy to replace. I had an Hanse 400 for over 15 years and it was good after that time…

Mine looks much worse that that looks like it's just the lever. These seacocks are now made out of very poor quality bronze in china. I'm looking to replace mine with a composite Trudesign one if I can as they seem more reliable
