Hi Turgut,
I have sailed the 445 and I have seen the people and  facilities of the new Hanse representative in Turkey -- I had a very positive impression. In fact I orderd a 445 at Trio Deniz, which will be delivered end of April. I believe Trio Deniz / it's staff is really committed to give a good service. (And the 445 is great to sail :-)

Hi Turgut,

The 445 I sailed had a standard main sail and I ordered it also like this as the normal reefing system works perfectly -- also for one person alone. I am not a friend of these in mast furling. If you get a problem with those -- if it gets jammed somewhere way up in bad weather... If mainsail furling it would have to be a boom furling for me -- but I don't think its necessary at all. What is good to have are electrical winches on both sides -- portside for the furling of the foresail.

Hi LakeOntario
The hull number of my 445 is #23 -- yours?

I have not heard yet. 23 is higher then i expected at this point. Looks like the 445 is going to be good for Hanse.

I ordered a 445 two weeks ago for delivery in June and got hull #45, so it seems like they've got a lot of orders.

Forgot to mention that through Inspiration Marine Group in UK I ordered a 445 as well with hull number 051. So here goes another Hanse to Turkey.
