My Sentinel App is suddenly not recognizing my shore power connection.  I saw where others has this same issue, but not where they addressed its.  Any ideas?  Where is the unit located on a 458?

Thanks

The unit is behind VHF, but cannot comment why it is failing, you can likely email Sentinel, they have been responsive. The wiring to Sentinel is pretty simple to track, wires in the battery compartment are clearly marked.

Mine does the same. I think it was related to a lightning strike at the marina a few slips down but I can’t confirm that. I haven’t tried to troubleshoot it. I did call Sentinel but they didn’t have any good suggestions. I’ve just accepted it. Everything else still works.

There is a little step down transformer between your shorepower and sentinel unit. Could be the culprit especially after lightning

Do you know where that little transformer sits? I haven’t come across it yet.
