Jonathan,
EDIT: It
seems that the problem exists that badly for me only when I am logged
in. After logout the time (of a sent post) is like in Sweden. Is it
somehow connected to Johan's promotion to Rear Admiral? Edited by Merinalle - 09 December 2007 at 22:35 |

The “official”
forum time is usually without any importance. I hadn’t earlier even paid any attention
to how it works. Then, one evening, I recognized that a message I wrote a few
minutes ago was written “yesterday”. Now I think I understand how the system
works: 2. When logged
in, all the times seen are modified using the personal value you have given in Forum
Preferences/Time offset when you registered first time to forum. 3. Before
the Website update (20th November), the server time was GMT. (At
summer time it was BST, just to make it more confusing.) |

I saw myself transferred to Great Britain for a while. Now that would be a promotion, wouldn't it?

Update 6th Jan 2008
I have noticed over the last couple of days an issue where users got an error saying that the database was in use and the page did not load.
We have now made some changes and this should now be resolved. If you do see this error please let me know.

Good idea Alan to thank Jonathan (and Hanse UK) for this great forum. I fully agree.
When I decided to buy my boat with Hanse UK, they decently sent me to the Dutch dealer. (Eventually I bought mine with the Belgian dealer, but he had to ask the Dutch dealer to invoice me (for tax reasons).) But for my next Hanse (whenever that will be) I will insist on getting it supplied through Hanse UK! |
